Press release No.3 for the voting process in the second round of the lections for the municipal mayors
Gjakova
In the polling center located in the primary school ‘Zekeria Rexha’ (0205c), specifically in the polling station 8, family voting was noticed. At least four cases of voting for individuals that were not present have being reported. In these cases members of polling station commission have issue ballots to these multiple voters and gave them the possibility to sign near to the names of other voters.
One of the polling station clerks, responsible for stamping ballots, has suggested almost every voter ‘do not forget to mark number 89’. In the same polling station have numerous cases that members of polling station commission interfere, pretending to be helping voters.
One member of polling station commission, responsible for stamping of ballots after polling is closed has started to mark himself the remained not issued ballots. As the representative of AAK noticed that in he did not stop marking ballots but they agreed to mark ballots together and to divide them for their parties.
Prishtinë
In the Faculty of Philology, out of the polling center, a large presence of police special units are noticed.
In “Hasan Prishtina” school, one voter attempted to vote twice. Once she was stopped from doing that she tried to pressure the commission to stop the activity of that polling station.
In the school yard of the school ‘Esat Mekuli’ in Dobratin, Podujeva, and the chair of Municipal Election Commission (Islam Demolli) has being slapped from a not-identified person.
All the polling centers in the region of Prishtina have been closed on time, regardless of some tension in several polling centers, like in primary school ‘Faik Konica’, ‘Hasan Prishtina’ etc.
Reports delivered so far show a normal flow of process in other regions with exception of previously reported irregularities.
